They went a respectable 8-8 last season despite only a 1-5 division

They went a respectable 8-8 last season, despite only a 1-5 division mark. I see them winning half of their division games this year. The Texans return with QB Matt Schaub as the starter and Sage Rosenfels as a quality backup. It’s good to have two quarterbacks in this league, unless you don’t know who the starter is (see New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs). Houston has a stud at WR in Andre Johnson. Let’s just hope he can stay healthy enough to play every game this year. Houston’s young defense is sure to improve this season after statistically finishing in the bottom half of the league last year. Tennessee (7-9)Someone’s got to finish last in this division, and I think it’s going to be the Titans The strength of this Tennessee offense is the run. The Titans drafted speedster Chris Johnson to add to an already loaded backfield.Despite signing Alge Crumpler, who I believe is a top-10 tight end, the Titans lack weapons for QB Vince Young.

The Titans need to give Young better and more explosive targets if they plan on improving their passing and scoring averages. In 2007, Young threw for under 200-yards per game, while the offense managed less than 20 points per contest. In a division with the Colts and Jags, that will not get it done. AFC PlayoffsWild Card Round#3 Jacksonville over #6 Houston#5 Indianapolis over #4 PittsburghDivisional Round#3 Jacksonville over #2 New England#1 San Diego over #5 IndianapolisAFC Championship Game#3 Jacksonville over #1 San DiegoI got the feeling that Jacksonville is a mentally tougher team than San Diego.  This will give Jacksonville the edge it needs to get past San Diego and advance to their first Super Bowl. Check back tomorrow for the NFC predictions and Super Bowl XLIII winner.. Kennedy, CM Punk, Ted DiBiaseJr., DH Smith, Lance Cade, and Carlito.  Let them battle with the new Nation of Domination on Smackdown.  I would Tivo that!So what happened tonight at the draft?  Rey Mysterio, Kane, Batista, and CM Punk were drafted to Raw.  Could someone please explain to me who Mysteriois going to feud with on the Raw roster?  Anyone, we will move on: Jeff Hardy, Umaga, Mr. Kennedy, and HHH head on over to Smackdown on Friday nights. Now, this makes sense if you look long-term.  Smackdown will be moving to a new network soon so the WWE had to put some fan favorites on the show in an attempt to boost the ratings after the move.  That being said, how do you move your biggest star to a show that is only seen by the die-hard wrestling fans?  I mean, honestly, Smackdown is on t.v. at 8pm EST on Friday nights.  How many people do you expect to stay home and watch at that time?Last but not least, Matt Hardy was drafted by ECW.  You read that right; ECW lost Kane and CM Punk but got Matt Hardy in return.   I think that speaks volumes for the way Mr. McMahon feels about the ECW brand. To make a long story short (too late) I was very disappointed in the way the draft turned out tonight.  I thought this would’ve been a perfect time to start new storylines and join together some young superstars.  Instead the kids will remain getting squashed while we watch John Cena vs Randy Orton for the 150th time. Hooray. . Tonight was about the WWE Draft when RAW hit the airwaves in San Antonio, Texas! But when the night ended, it was like last year all over again.

All three brands made their appearance in tonight’s broadcast, and it was nothing short of foundation-shaking.Here’s the RAW Rewind, complete with Draft Results.First Bout: Triple H (RAW) defeats Mark Henry (SmackDown!) (Draft Pick)As Chad Patton starts the match, Triple H throws the ‘DX’ Chop to a jaw jacking Henry. The World’s Strongest Man does a ‘DX’ Chop of his own as he continues the assault on the WWE Champion. Henry drops an elbow and tosses him in the corner. After three near falls following the Vader Bomb, Henry is unable to finish the Game off. After The Game kicks out of the World’s Strongest Slam, he drops Henry to the ground with the high knee and nails the Pedigree to secure the first pick for RAW. If the first pick is a sign of things to come, expect big things to happen.First Pick: Rey Mysterio (SmackDown!) drafted to RAWSecond Bout: Finlay & Hornswoggle (SD!) defeat Santito (RAW) (Draft Pick)The Irish Duo start the match, but Santino wants Hornswoggle. As the lil’ Irishman comes in, he drops the Italian with a Stunner. On the outside, Finlay and his son have control until an interference from Carlito gives Santito control. But in the end, it was the Celtic Cross followed by the Tadpole Splash that secured the victory for SmackDown! and the next pick.Second Pick: Jeff Hardy (RAW) drafted to SmackDown! In the process of Vince giving away his next million dollars, he announces that one of tonight’s main events will be Edge vs John Cena!Third Bout: Rhodes & Holly (RAW) vs.

Chavo & Neely (ECW) (Draft Pick)The match didn’t take too long as Ted DiBiase came down for a closer look. Bam and Chavo are punishing the younger Cody Rhodes, but a dropkick allows him to tag in Hardcore. After Neely interferes with the Alabama Slam, Rhodes sends him outside, but Chavo sends Cody outside instead. But in the process, Hardcore catches him and lands the Alabama Slam to give RAW another pick in tonight’s draft.Third Pick: CM Punk (ECW) drafted to RAWBack on RAW, Chris Jericho continues his campaign against Shawn Michaels. After his Doublecross Montage end, Jericho is joined by Lance Cade.

Y2J also makes it known that he doesn’t have an opponent for Night of Champions yet and wants HBK.Shockingly for Jericho, Michaels arrives at the arena and bolts towards the ring and begins the retaliation on his adversary. Things are going well for the San Antonio native until Jericho pulls him into the announcers table on the injured eye.Fourth Bout: The Dirt Sheet (ECW) defeats The Hardyz (SD!) (Draft Pick)Before the bout, Vickie Guerrero makes a smart decision for a change as she pulls Hawkins and Ryder out of this match and puts in Matt & Jeff instead.Miz and Matt exchange armbars, but Hardy drops Miz with a clothesline. As Jeff comes in, old school nostalgia kicks in with Poetry in Motion The champs regain control with cheap shots and blind cheats. Miz has a headlock applied and follows it up with The Miz Cornerstone.Jeff counters an Irish Whip into the Whisper in the Wind and manages to tag in Matt Hardy. Matt hits the clothesline/bulldog/elbow drop followed by the Side Effect.
